Messina (Taormina)

The beautiful and marvellous Messina, located on the Ionian coast of Sicily, is one of the biggest attractions in Italy. Further south are other equally beautiful coastal towns and villages, such as Taormina. Moreover, a few kilometres away is the famous Mount Etna, a volcano that is still active today and a key place in Greek mythology.

Valletta (Malta)

The port of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the capital of the island of Malta, is one of the must-see stops on any self-respecting Mediterranean cruise. The more than 300 monuments that stand on a little more than half a square kilometre make this place one of the most densely populated with historical attractions that can be visited during a cruise.
