Day 1 – Spain > Hanoi
Arrive at the airport approximately three hours before departure. Departure by scheduled economy flight via Istanbul to Hanoi.
Day 2 – Arrival in Hanoi
Arrival at Hanoi airport, welcome at the airport by the correspondent and transfer to the centre of Hanoi.
Free time until check-in at the hotel according to availability (normally from 14:00 h).
Night in Hanoi
Day 3 – Hanoi – MP
Transfer to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. The visit continues at the Temple of Literature, built in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside) and visit the house on stilts; the One Pillar Pagoda built in 1049 in wood on a single stone pillar.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Día 4 – Hanoi > Halong Bay > Lan Ha
Depart by road to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a journey through the rich agricultural lands of the Red River Delta and the landscape of rice fields and water buffaloes, an example of Vietnam’s rural and traditional life.
Arrival in Halong and embarkation on board a traditional wooden “junk” boat. Lunch on board. Visit the many islands of the Bay by boat.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5 – Lan Ha > Halong > Hanoi > Danang > Hoi An – Brunch
Early risers can take part in the Taichi demonstration on the upper deck. A splendid brunch will be served afterwards and all this will be followed by sailing through the myriad of islands and islets and visiting the most important ones. Around 10:30 am – 11:00 am disembarkation and return to Hanoi.
Direct transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang.
On arrival, reception and direct transfer to Hoi An.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6 – Hoi An > Tra Que > Hoi An
Transfer to the vegetable village of Tra Que, where we will have an authentic, social and cultural insight into the daily life of the local people. Traditional foot massage with medicinal herbs and demonstration of Tam Huu dishes. Lunch with Banh Xeo (local pancake).
Sightseeing tour of Hoi An. Stroll through the old city centre to visit the traditional merchants’ homes, the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese temple Phuc Kien, a traditional old house and the city’s history museum “Sa Huynh”.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7 – Hoi An > Danang > Hue
Transfer by road to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Visit to the Imperial Citadel and its Royal Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit to the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and boat trip on the Perfume River (Song Huong) to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. If time permits, visit Dong Ba market.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 8 – Hue > Ho Chi Minh
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Welcome and transfer to the city.
Sightseeing in Ho Chi Minh City, seeing the “La Commune de Paris” square, the cathedral (outside), the colonial style post office and the Opera House. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit to Cholon (Chinatown) with Thien Hau Pagoda and Ngoc Hoang Pagoda.
Night in Saigon
Day 9 – Ho Chi Minh > Mekong Delta > Saigon
Departure to the spectacular Mekong Delta.
Once in Ben Tre, we will take a boat through the narrow canals, surrounded by dense vegetation to the heart of the Delta. Throughout the day, tasting of local products such as exotic and indigenous fruits or coconut sweets. Return to the shore by taking a ride in a typical local “Xe Loi” cart and, later, by taking a rowing boat. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City and overnight in Saigon.
Day 10 – Ho Chi Minh > Siem Reap
Free time at leisure until the appointed time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.
Optional half day excursion: Cuchi Tunnels – Min 10 pax.
Visit the tunnels of the underground Cu Chi City, located an hour and a half’s drive from Ho Chi Minh City.
Flight to Siemp Reap. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Night in Siem Reap.
Day 11 – Siem Reap
Visit of Angkor Thom. Departure by Tuk-Tuk to the south gate of the complex and visit the Bayon Temple. Afterwards, visit Ta Prohm, one of the most spectacular temples in the area. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer by bus to visit the most famous of all temples, Angkor Wat. Finally, we will watch the sunset over the temple.
Night in Siem Reap
Day 12 – Siem Reap
Private blessing ceremony at the pagoda in the heart of Siem Reap, Wat Demnak. Before continuing our journey, we will receive a small gift from the monks as a souvenir.
Drive to the outskirts of Siem Reap to visit the Banteay Srei temple, “the Citadel of Women”, followed by a visit to the Banteay Samre temple.
If time permits, stop at the Artisans D’Angkor, a centre that helps underprivileged young Cambodians to maintain traditional handicrafts.
Night in Siem Reap
Day 13 – Siem Reap > Saigon > Spain
In the morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Saigon. Arrival, reception and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. Free time for shopping or visit Ben Thanh market. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Spain.
Day 14 – Arrival in Spain
Arrival and end of our services.
