Day 1 > Barcelona > Rovaniemi
Arrival at Barcelona airport at 8:00 h. Departure flight to Rovaniemi via Helsinki. Arrival at 17:30 h. Collection of thermal equipment and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Snowmobile and huskies
Finnish buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the river bank where the snowmobiles will be waiting. Departure for a 2-hour snowmobile safari. Campaign lunch.
Visit to a husky farm, where we will get acquainted with these beautiful animals, their daily life and training. Opportunity to ride individually on a sledge driven by a team of huskies.
Rest of the afternoon free with games for the children. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Santa’s Village and Reindeer Farm
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start the day by immersing ourselves in the magic of Lapland. Visit to Santa’s Village located in the Arctic Circle. We will meet Santa on his own time, have a magical photograph taken with him and have time to go to the post office to send a letter or postcard to a loved one with the official stamp. Time to stroll around the village.
We will then move on to a reindeer farm, where a reindeer herder will tell us about the daily life of reindeer and herding. Afterwards, we will have the opportunity to drive a reindeer sleigh. Campaign lunch. At the same time, we will do the traditional ceremony for crossing the Arctic Circle and receive a diploma certifying this.
Return to the hotel and free time. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Ranua Polar Zoo
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will spend the day visiting the northernmost zoo in the world, Ranua Zoo. We will take a walk in the open air to see Arctic wildlife in its natural environment. Moose, reindeer, wolverines, arctic foxes and of course the impressive polar bear are some of the specimens that can be found in this zoo.
Lunch en route and, before returning to the hotel, we will enter the Arctic Circle Museum.
Rest of the afternoon free, activities for the children. Dinner and overnight stay.
Día 5 – Rovaniemi > Helsinki > Barcelona
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport for departure at 15:00 h by flight via Helsinki to Barcelona. Arrival at 20:05 h and end of the trip.
